Vocational Training over Gambling, Zimbabwe

Recovery is possible, and it's not solo work. Sharing the peer-support model at the core of the program.

The recovery and the skill have to move together. A young man who beats the addiction but has no income relapses within weeks. Twelve are now in the combined program — counseling in the morning, the workshop in the afternoon.

Gambling has hollowed out a generation of young people in our community — debt, shame, and no way back. Our project pairs rehabilitation with vocational training: heal the person and give them an honest way to earn.
